Review on SANSI 250 200Watt Equivalent Omni Directional Bulbs 3000 by Anna Fetzner

These bulbs were purchased to replace the 150w CFLs I used. These are way better. They use half the power (22W vs 40W), heat up less, produce more light (3000 vs 2600 lumens) and are a massive improvement in every way. Unlike CFLs, which hum and need a warm-up time before reaching their maximum brightness, they turn on instantly. The color is bright and clear. I have 3000K (warm light) and although they are whiter and less yellow than the 2700K CFLs they replaced, they give a more "believable" look, less yellow and washed out. I'm not a photographer but see how they can be perfect for this purpose. I actually use them for my indoor gardening where I grow plants indoors when it's too cold to plant tomatoes, peppers, ornamentals etc directly into the ground. For me the biggest advantage is that they are much smaller. The CFLs were nearly 7 inches long and extended beyond the body of the lights I was using. This meant I had to attach a piece of cardboard as an extra lampshade so the protruding bulbs didn't blind me. I have no doubt that these new lightbulbs will result in faster growth in my green children. I will order this brand again! The improvement provided by LED light technology might even be the motivation I needed to move my vegetable garden 100% indoors to eliminate pests and unwanted pesticide loads on nearby farmland.
