Review on 🧁 8-Cavity Baba Silicone Bakeware by Fat Daddio's (3.1 oz) by Jason Mulah

In love with custom size desserts lately, I bought these two molds as soon as I saw them. The instructions suggest applying a little oil to the carious cavities before the first use (and only the first use). I used softened butter and a silicone brush to (laboriously!) coat every tiny crevice in these pans. I've used (mostly unsuccessfully) a tovolo cupcake stick to transfer the batter into these molds. They baked quickly, cooled quickly, and popped out of the mold perfectly. The details of the molds were excellent and the molds were easy to clean. However, they are very small, about the size of a mini cupcake. After baking two pans (12 individual cakes) and wrestling with the tovolo cupcake stick, I baked the rest of the batter in two 5-cup pans. So keep in mind that if you plan on baking the entire recipe in these molds, you'll either need more molds or be prepared to spend hours in the kitchen. They're damn cute though.
