I have a very large head that doesn't go well with hats but this still fits my head perfectly, albeit a little tight. If you also have a large head, don't count on using a ratchet strap, but be aware that you don't have to use a ratchet strap to get a great hat. It's warm, cute and when you're tired at work, you can wear it wrong to cover your face and lose the ability to breathe. Source: personal experience.
