I bought this item for my Altura Nikon TTL flash which I also bought from Revain. This flash included a flash cap diffuser that works better on non-wide angle shots. I saw this diffuser and it had good reviews so I figured for less than $10 I can't go wrong. I have to say I love this thing. It weighs nothing, is very thin and easily fits in my pocket. It takes two hands to place on the flash, but it stays securely in place after I put it on. It works very well, especially when you're photographing more than one person or need to spread the light over a larger circle. I can't comment on the durability of this diffuser, but I see no reason why it won't last for years. if they are treated with reasonable care. You don't leave the diffuser on the flash when you're not shooting, so I don't think the elastic will stretch and lose its shape. This really improves the images. My kids recently visited with my wife and we took them all for dinner. We had a private room in the restaurant and I took my Nikon DSLR and Altura flash to take some photos. As soon as I put this diffuser on my flash, my kids started telling me the camera looked ridiculous. They don't know and don't want to know what a diffuser is. However, once they saw the beautiful shots I was able to take with it, they became fans too. No more red eyes. So spend seven bucks and buy this thing.
