Works well, no adapter required
This cable is great for very long gaming sessions. My kit didn't include the adapters that others have mentioned. One end fits standard USB, the other end connects to the Wii U gamepad. This cable is long, so plug it directly into a USB power source. Avoid using in conjunction with a USB extension cable. Your voltage will drop and you risk damaging the Wii U gamepad.
