The tablecloth is stain and dirt resistant which is a good thing. I love the dense pattern and rich coloring of orange paisley. So if ever a stain or grease stain remains I skip the pre-treatment, the fabric still looks good without showing. The best news about this tablecloth is that it's outside. Dryer is ready for use. I waited to review until we had a few washes and reuses to base the review on. While I was here today I ordered one more for myself and one for a friend, such a wonderful tablecloth! Pulled out of the dryer, it has a light, generic, slightly wrinkled appearance, similar to a sheet. I think it's ok to use it that way. Someone can iron sheets and tablecloths, but I can't. I would describe the fabric as crease-resistant, like an easy-care shirt. It comes straight to the table after hours of waiting in the dryer, or folds and stores away and is still beautiful and functional. He may frown, but he doesn't. If you are picky, you can pet it. If you are not too picky but want a durable, beautiful and easy to care for tablecloth for everyday use, then this tablecloth is perfect!
