I'm writing this review in case it can help others. I have been doing leg waxing professionally for a few years but finally decided to try the home kit as all salons were closed due to COVID. At first the Sally Hansen kit was out of stock at Revain so I ordered another brand. As soon as the Sally Hansen version became available again I tried it for comparison and didn't think it was so good that I won't be buying it again. Leaked during transport, making it very difficult to remove the screw cap. Then, even following the advice of microwaving the wax, stirring, heating more, etc., I was never able to get it down to a consistency that was as easy to work with as the other brand . This wax was so gooey it reminded me of the scene from the movie Christmas Vacation where Clark's fingers got stuck to everything he touched! On the other hand, I have found that the finishing oil included in the kit does a good job of removing the wax from my bathroom countertop and sink! I understand that not every product is perfect for every person and many other people seem happy. with this. The price is low enough to make it worth trying, but don't be afraid to try other brands, you might just find another one you like better.
