BATTERY IST IST! Phew, ruins the whole thing. This would be perfect for my car that I wanted to add an RCA Bluetooth input to. It has Bluetooth for calling and a microphone, something a Bluetooth home stereo doesn't have. So if you just plug in a home Bluetooth receiver, you'll lose the ability to take calls. This article fixed it. But because it 1) has a battery, you can't turn it on and off with car power. So if you don't turn off the device (or turn it off in your phone), it will stay connected as long as the battery runs. So it's like you're at home, you get a call and you don't hear it because the device is still connected in your car. 2) It has a touch on/off button, which means it only goes into battery charging mode when plugged into a power source, it won't automatically turn on and connect to a phone or Echo Auto. You could just take care of it and take the extra steps to turn this device on and off every time you're in the car, but if those 2 'functions' were gone, this device would be the perfect seamless Bluetooth complement.
