I was looking for a sturdy, durable leather belt. It's leather, but feels a bit soft and supple. The main downside, however, is that the loop next to the buckle isn't attached to the belt, so it just slides around and falls to the ground when I hang it up. I have to rivet a loop on the belt to attach it.
