My dog is a 22lb Rat Terrier mix. longer legs. It looked cute on him, but that was about it. I couldn't let him swim in it without holding him or he would lose his balance and roll over in the water. Also, the velcro should be reversed as it doesn't close completely around his torso, otherwise it would be too tight and the next size up would be too big. With this problem came the issue of the Velcro sticking to my swimsuit causing damage. I was able to return right after the return window by paying a 20% restocking fee. I'm fine since we've used it a few times.
