After cataract surgery and lens implantation, the eyes are very tired and tend to produce a significant amount of "matter" that hardens in the eyelashes, leaving a painful "sand" that further irritates the eyes . I had my doubts but ordered a test box of these wipes and think they are a must have. Although the instructions are for single use, I have found that I can clean both eyelids at least 3 or 4 times simply by folding the tissue again. Wipe into a small rectangle the full width of the pack lengthwise and maybe 1/4 inch wide by pushing it all the way into the pack and then folding the open edge 3-4 times - seals well and there is plenty of liquid on the napkin starting at repetitions are effective, reducing intake to once every 3 or 4 days (my own requirement seems to be around once a day). I'm a believer and intend to be a longtime user.
