A few months ago my husband and I bought our first adjustable bed (split king) and HATED how the two mattresses moved. One of us always ended up in a crack. After a long research. I ordered this product to hold my mattress together and a styrofoam wedge to close a tear. After carefully observing how our adjustable bases affected our mattresses, I tied a strap like a belt around the middle of both mattresses. With a piece of foam between the strap and the mattress. I added a metal clasp to the side and covered it with extra foam. We only have a sheet on top and we can't tell the strap is even there! Robust construction and easy handling! Now we can stretch our heads and legs and the crack in the bed won't swallow us.
