Hardware is fine but like all refurbished computers I've bought, this one had a possibly corrupt operating system. When I was in the publishing industry, vendors used a fast operating system installation method with a phantom method call. The camouflaged computers we used always broke, just like this computer, but I don't know how they installed the operating system on this computer, but it's junk. Files get corrupted everywhere. I'm not an expert on Windows systems, I don't like fixing broken Windows problems, which is why most publishers use MACs. I didn't like that I had to immediately register this computer with Microsoft. The hardware is fine in my opinion, but if you want a reliable computer, spend more and buy your own copy of the OS or run something other than Windows. Windows is still a pity for graphics and video editing, you will spend hours fixing corrupted files and wasting time crashing. File hierarchy and bloated Windows registry should never be creative unless you have excellent Windows troubleshooting skills. Repairing corrupt Windows files is not my job! When you buy one of those refurbished windows boxes, remember that you get about what you pay for?
