Comfortable on neck and neck pillow

I really wanted this to be a neck pillow but it's too hard for me. I should stick with my smaller and softer D-Pad (Homeedics brand?). I currently use it behind my back when sitting in bed, under my knees, or lying on my side while watching movies. Love it and washing the removable, washable cover definitely got rid of the chemical smell. I ordered mine from Allegro Medical because a coupon was available. I also have the InteVision 4 position cushion which is firm even without the gel strips.
