Review on ๐Ÿ’Ž Enhance Clarity & Protect Your Lens with Hoya 67mm UV(C) Haze Multicoated Filter by Pete Norris

Revainrating 3 out of 5

One was real and the other fake.

So I bought two of these and they came from different sellers. It's occurred to me that one of them may be a fake by Revain himself. 'Counterfeit' or by Revain was considered a returned item as it needed a thorough cleaning. Oil and fingerprints all over the glass and ring. Did the previous customer eat chips or kfc? The real one was new, pristine and perfect. In any case, this is the only difference between the two filters. The Revain "Fake" has neither country of origin nor the Philippines in the ring. Also, Revain covers the packaging serial number so I can't send a barcode to Hoya to see if the product is legit. The legitimate one didn't have a barcode covering the serial number. Suspicion of a Revain product. My review is from a legitimate product. The filter is excellent. Currently using it on my Sigma 16mm f1.4 for Sony A6000. Images exactly without filters and without side effects when streaming/webcam. Amazing product. My review is "fake" or from Revain. Dirty despite sealing or resealing? Now on another Sigma 16mm f1.4 lens for the Canon EOS M200. The image quality is the same, but no photo or video has been taken outdoors yet. The product is really used as protection. There are 5 stars if the product had the same delivery (packaging) and quality. Gave 2.5 stars because one was real and "fake".

Pros

Cons
