This is the second scratching post we have bought. The first was not stable enough for an overweight cat, and her shaking made her unsure of her size. We put this tree in the most visible spot so she can see everything and it looks beautiful. The white fabric blends beautifully with the white walls of our rentals without noticing how it juts out in the middle of the room. Absolutely perfect. The rope confuses her a little, so we tied her in a knot and attached a piece of rope to hang her in her place. She loves it. It was easy to assemble. She had time to knock over the plate of screws while I collected them, but not enough time to scatter them all. And a box! Raised enough to know it's safe from Roomba, the two holes are perfectly positioned for looking out the window or into the kitchen/living area. Featuring small shelves at each of the holes to hold her head so she can stretch her face in any direction she wants. Truly a masterpiece of the box. She sleeps in it all day and I got up in the middle of the night to get water to find my cat was still sleeping in the box and not under my bed. This tree has turned my cat into a decorative cat that never leaves its box and no longer terrorizes the apartment at any time of the day. If I have one last word to say, when this masterpiece was put together, she didn't even bother jumping into the box it came in. 5 Stars!
