is not much louder than other headphones priced around 60-80, but louder yes. Every time I walk far without it turning off the music still plays and I can hear it loud but regularly it skips a bit if I walk far enough for it and then when I get close again, do i have to unpair, turn off the headphones and then plug them into the pc for the volume control to work again, if i don't restart them and then restore them i can still hear the music but for some reason i can't control the volume even though i have enough proximity to bring Bluetooth back to full performance. These headphones sound fantastic, have more bass than any I've heard before but then again I never spent more than $80 on headphones until I got these. The uncomfortable part of these headphones is that the shell is a little small all the way around so it fits snugly around the ear, too snug to be over the earcups as they compress the ear and can cause ear pain after prolonged use. Ears, as this can restrict some of the blood flow to the ears, causing the spasmodic earache that some headphones cause. Actually my ears are medium sized, they are not big and not small, they are about average compared to any other person. Also, these are the most comfortable headphones I've ever used and the price is spot on. also for others to let them know my question was answered and i was told that 24 hours of battery life is only for the lowest possible volume, full volume i was told more like 16 hours so its not terrible but who uses headphones at lowest volume, 24 hour volume is useless for battery life rating lol.
