Small Sharp Scissors

I have ordered several different BIHRTC scissors. At first I had never heard of this brand, but I bought a set of sewing scissors, embroidery scissors and sewing scissors and was very satisfied. It's nice to have a second pair of these sharp, quality little thread scissors tucked away in another part of the house so I ordered this set. The first thing to know is that they are quite small. 3.5 inches is not much. They do not replace tailor's scissors, kitchen scissors, etc. They are designed for small jobs that require a sharp and clean thread cut. For this purpose they are great! It's definitely sharp (but doesn't replace professional scissors if you use it every day), the blades are well aligned, they're made of high-quality stainless steel, and they're comfortable in your hands. I found them easy to open and close. Note that like all BHIRTC scissors, they have some oil on them - you'll need to wipe them off before use - but it keeps them sharp and rust-resistant. Perfect for small crafts like mending or sewing on Boy Scout badges or ribbon cutting. I don't use them as embroidery scissors, but they will work for that purpose too. I like its size - big enough for me and my husband to use it comfortably (and he has big hands!) but not full size. scissor size.
