Review on ๐Ÿถ DOG CARE Rechargeable Dog Training Collar with Remote - 3 Training Modes, 1000Ft Range, 2 Receivers - Large Medium Small Dogs by Cynthia Broederdorf

This is my third set of these training collars

So far I like these training collars. I have two sets that I bought earlier (about a year ago) and they still work great. We used them in the rain and never had a problem. My dogs respond very well to vibration and beep modes. I almost never had to use the shock setting. Once they experience the shock setting, the sound mode is usually enough to get their attention, which is why I bought this particular training collar in the first place. For this price there were practically no other collars with a sound signal. I like that it is very easy to switch between the collars. There is a separate button to easily switch to another collar. I just bought my third set as a backup and to loan out to friends. So far everything seems to be the same. I've read that people have had trouble disabling collars, but haven't had that experience yet. Most of the time I only use them for training though and probably won't leave them on for 8 hours. I had an issue with this new set that I figured out fairly easily. Old TVs didn't have an on/off switch. After charging a new device, you must press and hold the power button for 5 seconds before it registers with the remote control. It will turn green and the remote will indicate that it is connected. It took me a minute to understand that. After I disconnected the collar from the charger, the remote lost connection with it and I kept pressing the power button and nothing happened. So make sure you press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to plug it back in.
