I used to have a quilted flannel shirt. It was just a cheap shirt from a big store, but damn it, the shirt was too warm. I currently have a wool fleece lined Wrangler flannel shirt, and while it's quite warm, I was looking for the toasted warmth you get from a jacquard quilted shirt. Unfortunately, this shirt jacket isn't even as warm as the sherpa lined shirt jacket. As soon as I unpacked it, I had a bad feeling. It was too light without the weight that a thick quilted lining could have given it. This shirt jacket can be suitable in temperatures around 55 degrees, but anything below that requires hoodies, sweaters, etc. to be comfortable. Also, I now have two Wrangler shirts that curve at the back bottom of the shirt. I'm wondering why Wrangler isn't making an effort to address this issue?
