Bought this set of 2 in May 2021 for an elderly relative who has an acrylic shower screen. We used a suction cup and it hasn't moved in all these months. Due to loss of fine motor skills and dementia she tends to be a little rough. She can handle small tubes of hair products, but not large bottles of shower gel. She also used a ton of the product because it was difficult to squeeze out (on top of the aforementioned dementia). These bottle holders also reduce waste. I was skeptical of how long the suction cup would last, so I waited to write a review. We are very happy with these bottle cages. Body wash bottles range from oval to rectangular, each about 22 ounces. The first holder I used was for an oval bottle and it was difficult to fit the bottle in, but now it fits the oval shape of the bottle and they are easy to replace. She was then given another shower gel in a square bottle and I wasn't sure if I could transfer it to another holder and how. I filled the sink with warm tap water (hot bath temp), just enough to keep the unused bottle holder in the water, but the sliding mount on the back was still out of the water (didn't want to risk stretching or warping). ). That). I let it sit for about 5 minutes and then gave it a little shake before attempting to set it on top of the rectangular bottle. It slipped relatively easily and required some adjustments, but the soaking made it a lot lighter compared to the first bottle. Now it's easy to swap out the bottles for both. She went from a bottle a week or so to one a month, so those owners have already paid for themselves. In addition, both remain bright white and do not yellow. Another pleasant surprise.
