While checking the seams of the fabric, I used fabric glue to reinforce those seams and the ends of all the sisal rope. Photo 1 shows 1 long pole that I will wrap completely and glue with sisal. Rusty plays at this level a lot and often grabs this pole to pull himself up. I didn't originally want it to be that big, but after creating it I see that it can easily be scaled down. I am happy with the cost, quality and durability of this scratching post.
