When you're investing hundreds of dollars in your phone, maybe you need something more than just a case and screen protector. Not only does this provide two ways for you to clip it to your clothing or belt, but if you're a cargo pants and shorts type like me, the entire bag fits right in there. It has thick, durable padding to provide extra protection from bumps and bumps against other objects. I carry mine in my pocket now, but you can wear it on your belt for quick access. A pen holder will probably work better if you have a phone with a thin stylus, but I rarely use my pen, which is a bit larger so I don't have to keep it in a case. If I just wanted to make one design suggestion, it would be to add a small extra pocket somewhere to store the headphones. All in all it was very good for the price.
