They need a few days to acclimatize. The results are worth it.
The first night I had to take it off because it hurt my body, weird. The second night I was fine with it but didn't sleep well. The third night went really well as I figured out the basic rules of weighted blankets. I would buy it again because I think it helps me sleep. This is my second weighted blanket. I weigh 170 kg and stupidly bought a 20 kg blanket for the first time. It was awful, not comfortable at all. I gave it away So make sure the blanket is the right weight for your weight.
