Bought this item to replace the cutter and foil on the 7570 shaver. This is very different from the original cutter and foil that came with the shaver . Although it cuts, it takes 3 times longer because of the new design due to skipping a lot of hair on the first and second cuts. I have to go over the same spots 3 times and even then the blade seems to get stuck when I try to cut my hair so I have to shake the razor frequently to remove the cut hairs. As far as I can see, the shaver can only remove a portion of hair at a time, as evidenced by the fine dust of hair left behind after trimming. I was expecting the razor to cut off large sections of flyaways first and then maybe follow that smooth cut. I wasn't able to get as smooth a cut as I could with a regular straight blade. When I first got a razor with the original blade design and foil, I was able to shave comparable to a straight blade. Having invested hundreds of dollars in upfront and ongoing cleaning solution costs for this razor, I will keep messing around until the razor fails, at which point I most likely will not buy another Braun.
