This is my third brand keyboard case. the last 2 are not, well, the last! The buttons didn't register and broke after light use. This Tomsenn keyboard looked different from the start. First, this was the only time I've received a Surface keyboard that was boxed by the manufacturer to survive shipping. The keys are solid, register without ghosting, and have a satisfying click. This is also my first LED-backlit keyboard and I was concerned that it would affect the battery, but I knew that if I could turn it off I'd leave the light my favorite color all night and the battery life wasn't is less than previous brands. The magnets are all strong and the lack of flex on the board is amazing. If I had one criticism, I'd say that the USB-C connector can hold the connection a little tighter, but it does its job perfectly and doesn't cause any problems. I chose Tomsenn because they are from Shenzhen. I've never been to Shenzhen, but almost all the electronics I own (my phone, computer parts, laptop, server spares) that have served me for years are from this city. Tomsen is no exception. Buying products from a Shenzhen based company has never let me down and I wish I had discovered Tomsenn sooner.
