Nice puzzle but VERY poor quality

I was fooled by the many rave reviews for this toy, it's classic and very cute and my daughter loved it with it to play. I wiped the figures down with a damp cloth a few days after receiving them and found that all the paint was seeping onto the cloth. It doesn't seem safe! I left a few pieces on top of the wooden board and the paint actually left paint marks, where they lay.

Pros

WITHOUT SAFETY HAZARDS. The board measures 7.88" x 7.88" x 0.5" and is suitable for toddler hands with a non-toxic and safe durable finish, and the pieces of wood are not too small to choke or split. . Thanks to its light weight and rounded edges it won't harm your little ones, furniture or wooden floors
