Wow. Where should I start? From the start, opening this thing was a nightmare. My floor is covered in styrofoam shreds, which isn't too bad, it just meant I had to vacuum after assembly. Aside from the 4 center pieces, there were dents around the edges (so much for all the styrofoam) but I was ready to deal with and work with. But then I discovered that one of the side panels had a huge tear across and in the corner (see photo) and I was still willing to work on it. So I got to work and let me tell you, these tiny wooden pegs are a gift from hell. The holes in each shelf need to line up with the pins from the center section above and below the corresponding shelf, but each time you insert one pin it pushes the other out or the pin itself is inserted into the spacer and then pinned what Pliers are required because the holes are deeper than they should be. Some of the pins were too big to fit and some of them broke. I gave up then. Overall this shelf seems great and really sturdy if I could put it together but it was very frustrating. I will not buy it again nor will I recommend it to anyone else. I've never been so angry with an inanimate object. Save yourself the headache, the time, and just spend a little more on parts that won't break just from breathing too close to them.
