Perfect.Compact, good buttons and solid base.

This keyboard was exactly what I needed. I have a Vista laptop that still works very well, but the keyboard has seen better days. Some keys get stuck while others just stop working. Some time ago I put my laptop on a shelf with the USB board in front of me. The one I used was bought from Staples and more, has old keys that require a lot of travel, and is generally cheap and disappointing. I went with this one which is actually cheaper than the one I've been using and couldn't be happier. I like the compact design after so many years of using the keyboard on my laptop and especially the keys on it which are bigger, flatter and a lot more like the actual ones on the laptop I used as is. It was easy to set up. Even with my old laptop, I just plugged it in and it was hot in less than 10 seconds. As mentioned in some other reviews, Num Lock is activated on every boot as well as the first time you turn it on. However, this was an easy fix by pressing the FN and NUM-LCK keys at the same time as suggested. As it's a plug-in it's not a problem with the setup I have as the cable just falls off the table and never gets in the way. I prefer it to a wireless connection which requires batteries and can sometimes lose connection. last thing. It has nice rubber feet that really keep it in place. My other keyboard had a so-called prop, but it left a lot to be desired. I even added non-slip pads to the other one and it still wasn't as good as it is. Overall this keyboard is really good quality, the perfect size I wanted and very comfortable to use. For a compact wired device, they don't get any better for the price. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • LEISURE AND WORK - 11 built-in hotkeys, easy control of audio, video, web, email and more. To enable or disable number blocking, press FN and NumLk (for blue printed keys e.g. U, I, O)
Cons
  • poorly thought out
