I bought this because it's almost the same as guinea pig beds and about $10 cheaper. There is literally no assembly, just pop out and you tuck the ground in and it stays up very well. I love that it feels comfortable when her other bed didn't seem too comfortable. I'll probably throw it away because they sleep together in this big one. Most reviews say it's too small for a cat and I don't see why it's perfect for my guinea pigs. My wild boar is actually quite large, it fits my male and female guinea pig with plenty of room. It seems it will be big enough for a cat. I wash it separately on the gentle cycle and it seems to hold up great in the washing machine. I didn't dry it, I just let it air dry. It's not too thick, they seem to like it, that's important. I know the picture isn't the best quality, sorry, I appreciate photographers, but unfortunately I'm not one of them.
