I have 2 little Pomeranian dogs that are notorious for having dental issues that I give these to to keep teeth clean. I give them these twice a week with some dog tooth paste and it works like a charm to clean their teeth. I hold the chew bones and regulate how much and how fast they eat it and only hold out a little of the chew bone at a time, so they have to chew a lot and scrape the plaque off. Some of the variations of the chew bones are to hard for my little dogs, the large spiral variation work best.
