I live in Summit Hill, PA in Carbon County wanted to provide location as antenna purchase is pretty location dependent on what works. I am currently using this in conjunction with my Directv service. Directv sent me a local channel connector that included a Wynegard leaf boost antenna. I couldn't use the sheet properly, although in the same spot, wall mount, picked up signals just as well with the sheet gave me bad signals, I had to drag it forward to the bookshelf to get it in the same spot and I wanted it don't tape it to keep it falling off. This curved Mohu 50 was the answer as it has a stand and the antenna is stronger to keep it from tipping over. I actually get all of my main networks, WNEP, CBS, ABC, FOX, CW and PBS, and all sub-channels. I've never had subchannels with DirectV, so it actually works better than getting locals via DirectV. I have no problem getting them out at all, the lowest signal I have is WOLF, a Fox affiliate that gets about 60% signal, the rest is in the 80s-100 signal, but even Fox at 60% never loses the signal to the point where I can't see it. It works for my region so it's a solid investment for me.
