So first of all it was not instructions but it was not DIFFICULT to understand and the instructions are included in the pictures of this product; which also shows you that the parts are connected. Second, it's a great little piece. I bought it for my compact bathroom and it's perfect. Now don't expect to have gallons on every shelf. You get what you pay for. It's not wood, it's more of a strong foam, but it's great. I appreciate it. I needed something small and didn't want to spend $40-$75 on a closet. It comes with screws. I assembled it and moved it twice. If not abused, it works as it should. I don't feel like it's going to fall apart at all.
