Sounds great for the price. Sounds very good for movies, great bass and easy to understand dialogue. Maximizing surround sound is great when listening to Atmos or 5.1, but you'll want to turn it off for non-surround media as it generally causes terrible echoes and muddy sound. But if you understand that, everything is fine. music sounds ok I haven't played with it too much, but the basic quality for music just doesn't seem to hold up. I was very surprised at how well packaged it was for an upgraded item. Everything was well sealed and I couldn't find anything wrong with any of the speakers. All directions and wiring are also included. It's definitely 5 stars for the price, but if you're an audio file and use it a lot for music, you might want to invest in something more expensive.
