I recently purchased this monitor to upgrade to a USB-C capable portable monitor as my computers no longer have enough USB-A ports to support my old portable monitor. Being able to connect and power the monitor with a single cable is great. I also LOVE the built in kickstand on this model and that it supports multiple viewing angles! Setup was easy - it's basically plug'n'play. The only monitor adjustment I had to make was adjusting the brightness from time to time. It was intuitive without using any instructions. The only issue I had was connecting through the Microsoft Surface Dock 2 over USB-C - my Surface Book 3 couldn't see the monitor when connected through the dock's USB-C port. However, it worked fine when I plugged it directly into a USB-C port on the laptop itself (I can't seem to connect to this portable monitor unless it's plugged in, as it lacks connectivity to other connected desktop monitors disabled). on the back of the dock). However, I don't think it's related to the capabilities of this monitor, so it's not reflected in my rating, just something I thought others should know (i.e. I think it's a Windows limitation and /or Surface Book 3 can't connect a third external monitor, at least not through the dock I assume the mini HDMI to HDMI port on my dock will work, but I haven't tried that , as I already have two monitors connected to the docking station (I didn't buy this monitor to use at my desk anyway, so I don't care) Great portable monitor, I'm happy with my purchase!
