Review on Vera Bradley Performance Cosmetic Organizer by Carrie Snethen

I mostly have Coach, Tumi and Kate Spade accessories and my sister is a big Dooney & Bourke fan. This is my first time looking at Vera Bradley bags. These are attractive and well-made accessories. Lay Flat Makeup Bag ($60) – This was actually my favorite of the three bags. Huge capacity, nice fabric, good stitching, the ability to wipe inside and two zippered compartments. What's a bit strange is that I can't tell which side is the front. I thought it might be the side with the little zip pocket but the logo was on the other side. No big deal, just weird to me. The only thing missing (since makeup bags tend to be heavy) are handles. It would be great to have a pen like the one in the midday swamp. Overall I gave 4 stars. The Deluxe Lunch Bag ($60) is probably my second favorite item of the three. It is spacious, well padded and offers various carrying options (handle and shoulder strap). Well-stitched seams and quality zippers. My chopsticks only fit in the inside flap, not in the front zipper. The only problem with the lunch bag now is that there is a water bottle holder on one side and a place for your name or business card on the other. I would like two bottle holders and maybe a business card slot on the back of the bag. When I put it down it just tilts towards the water bottle so it doesn't lay flat. Overall I would give 4 stars (leaning towards 3.5 stars). Turnlock Wallet ($74.93) - If you like wallets with multiple compartments and zippered compartments, you'll love this wallet. I guess it's really not my style as I carry almost nothing with me let alone stuff a large wallet like this. It's beautifully made, nice metal clasp and I mean lots of pockets. The only thing I was missing was a wrist holder, I see where it can be packed with a bunch of stuff and a wrist holder would be a nice addition. Overall I would give this place 3 stars.
