Good basis. Not particularly luxurious, but it gets the job done. I was out shopping (and so should you) and found a similar design that others are selling at a higher price. It wasn't the cheapest version of this stand but when I see prices lower than usual I have to wonder how the seller makes the difference. You may feel different. Before you buy, make sure your gear will fit. Mine did, but then I had to return the razor. My new razor has a wider handle than usual which doesn't fit so the stand had to be returned as well.
