Perfect. I really only needed (2x) females but this was the best where all connections were 4 pin. Notes or direct quotes. I connected a male to my iPhone, a male to a pair of headphones with a mic, and a male to a 4-pin male-to-male cable to my Macbook Pro, where I recorded it with GarageBand. It took me a few trial runs to find this configuration, but it worked the best for me.
