We got rid of our old tree in January so when I bought this one (September) I wanted it to be a little smaller than before. That works great! I installed it on December 1st and it was easy to do. The main task of the installation was to loosen up the knots and make them look full. It takes a little time and patience but I made it look clumsy (bottom was easier than top for me but your mileage may vary). I reckon it will take some time to assemble everything to fit in the bag that accompanied the tree at the end of the season. There was a small "pin" mouse that needed to be vacuumed out, but nothing more. The tree stand comes with 3 screws. It seemed so small to me, but it stabilized the tree perfectly, so I was pleasantly surprised.
