First shot with Canon T5i in TTL mode, I got overexposed photos, I hope I can still get good prints. I don't know if I put it on correctly or if I just had a bad flash, but it should have given a good exposure. I was expecting it to have a screen but it doesn't. Only buttons to control the mode (ttl, manual and slave). The only button that controls the light output (no + or -), the power button (which has to be held down to turn on), the pilot switch (which glows green when ready) and the switch for the light. The most annoying thing is that the light switch turned on by itself and drained the battery when it did in my case. I compared it to another flash that cost me less than $40 (although it doesn't have TTL or flash zoom) and this one has a lower build quality than the other. It has no ports to sync to a PC or external power supply. The light is okay, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're more than 3 feet from your subject. I will definitely return it. Maybe I'll just buy another Neewer hand flash.
