I bought two of these and the assembly instructions are pretty basic but could be better. The main areas to look out for are: (a) Door latch location. It has a spring loaded side that is magnetized and needs to face outwards to attach the metal plate to the door. (b) There are two small spring-loaded "hinges" that push into the door and then snap into the mounting holes. I completed assembling the first block after several readings and attempts to interpret the instructions. On the second device, I digressed and flipped one of the circuit boards so there was no hole for the hinge knob. Not a difficult decision, but annoying. Overall they look great.
