Doesn't work with at least two devices
I got it for a laptop for an external display but it didn't work. Tried another laptop, doesn't work either. Then used an iPad and it worked. The only difference I can think of is that my iPad has Thunderbolt and my laptops have regular USB-C. However, since the name says it's USB-C (and Thunderbolt compatible), I figured it would work. It should have a better name like Thunderbolt to HDMI.
