This is a powerful variable speed angle grinder. However, the ergonomics are so bad that I am sending it back. The body is very large and difficult to hold. I wear a very large glove so I have medium sized hands for a man. Due to the size of the case, it's actually difficult to keep a full-size paddle switch on all the time to stay on. It has a button on its end to lock it in place, but it's extremely difficult to activate without moving both hands more than you would need on an actively running instrument. The other problem with this is that you unlock it by pressing down on the stem that runs the length of the body. While it's difficult to hold down that paddle switch all the time to keep it on, you'll keep pressing it as you change hand positions while using the grinder and disengaging the lock. I've used it twice for about 30 minutes each time and both times I've only been frustrated and made worse by very sore forearms. If variable speed is important to you, I highly recommend spending the extra $50 on it and getting a rat tail Matebo. That's what I do.
