I ordered this for hunting season in PA. it gets pretty chilly, I ordered the blaze orange and it is warm. I don't use the ear flaps it's just warm. I really like the style also, my dad had one like this for years. I plan on ordering the red and black one also so I can wear it other than hunting. make sure you know your head size. I ordered 7 1/8 because the only time I ever had my head measured was 30 years ago in the marines when we got measured for our uniforms and I remember I was 7 1/8, what I forgot was my head was shaved in boot camp and now I have hair so its a little snug. maybe 7 1/4 for my next one.
