It works! Makeup in makeup

Wow. This was by far the sketchiest product I've ever used. The first impression did not inspire confidence. The packaging was solid, but the box was littered with misspellings. The label of some vials of solution was also scratched. That being said, a lash lift costs over $75 in my area. After giving up extensions I wasn't willing to pay the price for eyelash extensions so I prayed to the universe and gave it a try. After watching a few YouTube videos and reading the reviews here, my first experience was terrible. It was very difficult to get the shape to stick to my eyelid. I've tried my left eye in case it blinds me (HA! I'm glad it's a joke). After a gooey mess, I applied the solutions, set the timers, and struggled to pull the lashes off at the end. I ended up with zero results. After a few days and more research I tried again. I am including my own tips as well as tips I found helpful from other videos/reviews.1. Cleaning. I washed and dried my face and hands to remove natural oils. After that, I applied a cotton swab with cleansing water (#4) to the eyelashes and eyelids. Smells like diluted alcohol.2. application of the form. Make sure you trim the shape to fit your eyelid, not the sides or the top. It will be much more difficult to glue it if it's big. I used media. When cut correctly, it should only take one layer of glue, with a little more at the corners. Allow the glue to become tacky and gently press the eyelid without moving it. I counted to 30. The racquet wasn't perfect in the corners, but it was enough for a good lift.3. glue eyelashes. Don't use too much glue! I've found that it's best to stick on the top half of the lashes. It seems the guide suggests working in sections. Letting it go tacky, I ran my finger along my lashes and then the flat side of the toothpick. After they were pressed, I used the tip of a toothpick if any lashes were noticeably crooked.4. application of solutions. I found it easiest to dip a clean toothpick in and gently apply from lash line to center. I used enough grout to make it visible. The first time I painted with a brush with a thin layer and it didn't work out. I carefully taped the tips of any loose lashes together, then applied a piece of cling film to keep them from drying out (Saran also helps keep the lashes in place). Have a cotton swab handy to wipe the excess from the waterline. Set your timers! I used another Q-tip at the end of each timer to flush out the solutions. Application of removal oil (3rd solution). The oil will break the bonds of the lash glue, so this step is very important. I used a fully soaked cotton swab and oiled the entire lash paying special attention to the glued part. Brush with saran, wait 5 minutes and then carefully release the eyelashes from the mold with a cotton swab that has been soaked again. I used a gentle upward motion of the brush to move the glue up and off the lashes. It took me an additional 2 minutes to safely peel off all of my lashes. Then I processed the lashes and lid to remove more glue. It was difficult to clean my eyelid. I carefully poured in more solution, soap, and makeup remover, with slow success. In the end, the remaining glue came off the next day. I have beautifully curled eyelashes. Towards the end of the process I used a handful of cotton swabs, cotton swabs, 4 toothpicks and a spool to clean up at the end. Total time took 1 hour 15 minutes to process one eye at a time. I washed the silicone mold with hand soap and warm water for next time use. On day 4 my lashes still look great. Will definitely update if needed. Overall it took a little getting used to, but I'm so pleased with the results that I feel the initial effort was worth it. Happy climbing!
