is this a scam? When I ordered this chair it had 20 4 and 5 star reviews and 2 1 star reviews. Now I assume that 20 4 and 5 star reviews have been bought. After receiving the chair and re-reading them, I can't believe these were authentic reviews. After several hours of work assembling the chair, I was able to sit down in the chair and was terribly disappointed. The seat has no support, the cushion is weak, it feels like sitting on cardboard. The armrests are hard and uncomfortable - and if you have poor posture and have ever put your feet on the base, you'll find that they're uncomfortable for your feet. Overall the chair is of very poor quality. I spent $275 on this chair and thought it was a quality product. I was wrong! A plus - the wheels were good. The chair was horribly assembled. I have attached 2 photos - they are meant to show the steel plate with threaded holes to allow the back to attach to the base. As you can see the steel plate was assembled incorrectly. He was pushed aside. So the holes didn't match. One of the holes was partially covered with plastic underneath, preventing the screw from screwing in. It was impossible to assemble the chair since it was sent to me. I ended up removing the steel plate and reinstalling it properly centered. However, this created another problem. Now the steel plate didn't line up with the holes in the plastic. I had to use a dremel tool to enlarge the holes and line them up with the steel plate. Finally, this is a terrible chair. Having had to modify it so I could assemble it, I was very disappointed with the overall build quality. Thanks to Revain for bringing it back.
