Product manual says shredded chunks will only be "13/64" wide, but I measured the shredded chunks output and they are 6/8" wide. Width (i.e. 24/64" wide.) My previous $29 shredder made pieces that were 16/64" wide, so I can directly compare how easy or difficult it is to read text from the shreds - the difference between the promised chunk size and the actual chunk size is the difference between whether the text on the chunk is unreadable or readable. And the text on the actual fragments is readable. It's fine for shredding regular mail, but I wouldn't use it for use really sensitive documents.
