Review on 🎵 Sangean U3 Digital Tuning Radio: AM/FM Ultra Rugged & Water Resistant - Blue/Black by Kenyatta Mack

This is the best job site radio I've ever owned. As for the radio, it's vastly superior to any DeWalt, Bosch, Milwaukee or Rigid I've owned or used. Some of the others have features like 115v socket etc which this one doesn't have but I bought it to use as a radio not an extension cord or charging station. The tuner is accurate, the sound is clear and the range is superior to the rest. I'm a rock guy so the sound is the best I've ever heard. The volume is sufficient on the street. Sounds good on the floor (maybe a bit bass-heavy for some, but you can adjust the tone). Sounds great on an elevated platform, even a tool box. It has enough tone control to boost the treble/bass if you like talking on the radio. Pretty solid construction, I've only had it a week so it's only been dropped once (from a 3ft counter) and it hasn't rattled in the back of my truck for long so we'll have to see how durable it is actually is. is that so. The big disadvantage is that it cannot be charged independently. If you play with batteries a lot, you'll need rechargeable D batteries and a charger if you don't have one. I'm more than willing to ignore this due to the superior sound, setup and volume. Has a bunch of other bells and whistles you might like including an alarm clock and flashlight which I tested and will probably never use again.
