I first bought the Skull Grip case but no matter what I did this case used to hurt my wrists. I also wasn't thrilled with the performance for the price or the fact that I had to constantly slide it in and out of the case if I wanted to use the Joymins or the screen alone. I initially decided between Saisfie and this one. Having already purchased an Oivo clip for a professional controller and was impressed with its quality and performance, I decided to give it a try. I wanted a case that felt more comfortable to use the switch as a whole and I'm so glad I found this case! That's all! The quality is excellent, the asymmetrical design is awesome. I was skeptical at first, but once you use it you understand exactly why you need it and why it makes sense. This design actually puts your hands in an ergonomic position, which the skull case I mentioned doesn't. The cartridge slots on the back are my favorite feature - I love that I can switch between my favorite games on the fly. They're tight but work great. If you're buying this for someone who's rough with their electronics I might worry that you might lose a few cartridges after a day of hard gaming, but at this point you have more of a switch to worry about than just one missing wagon or two. . The built-in kickstand is a nice touch. I didn't think I would use it often but I just used it yesterday and was glad to have it and glad it works so well. When not in use, the stand folds over the top of the unit and is designed so that the headphone jack and cassette slot remain accessible. My only concern is that the stand feels a bit "loose" in this position - I wish there was a stronger "click" in this position. But this is only a small point of criticism and does not affect the overall impression. The switch itself slides in and out of the case easily and feels secure once installed. The only other thing on my wish list for this case is the rubberized texture. The case itself is made of hard plastic with minimal texture on the handles. That wasn't a problem, but it would have been nice if the case felt more secure in my hand without requiring me to unconsciously try harder to compensate for the lack of a rubberized texture. In conclusion, this seems to be what the Switch should have shipped with from day one. After a lot of use, my hands feel good and I've found that I use my pro controller a lot less as it offers more comfort and more. Particularities. Try this while standing on a fence!
