Very thin.

The material is nice and pretty easy to put together, but too thin to hold anything heavier than a rice cake. I bought this as a gift box for a ceramic piece and reinforced the base by cutting out a piece of cardboard to fit. The tabs that hold the box together are like thick paper and come off easily so they have to be glued together. The overall quality is bad! There is no way these crates could hold wine bottles and other items featured in 5 star reviews without those items falling out when the crate was removed from the counter it was packaged on.
